Getting to Nanjing
By Air Following international air routes are provided for reference. Please consult your local travel agencies for details. • International travelers from cities of Inchon, Osaka and Singapore may take no-stop flights to Nanjing. • International air travelers from other cities need to land a continental city first, e.g., Beijing, Hongkong or Macao, and transfer to a domestic connecting flight linking to Nanjing. A short or long stay in stop cities is involved based upon how the flights link up. • International air travelers from other cities can also land Shanghai first. However, they have to take trains from Shanghai to Nanjing, as these two cities are fairly close (303 km and 2-3 hrs by train, see train timetable below). After arrivals in Nanjing airport NKG, please take a taxi to conference hotel: Hua Dong Hotel, which is 300 m away from Hohai campus. Need help, call Conference Secretary Dr. Qiang at 13852293738(m). Note: Beijing-Nanjing: 902 km (564 mile), Hongkong-Nanjing: ~1000 km (625 mile).
By Train International air travelers, who touch down at Beijing, Shanghai or other continental cities, may want to choose to take trains to Nanjing. A short or long stay in these cities may involve depending upon your flight arrival time and train schedules. Following is the list of current trains from Beijing or Shanghai to Nanjing for reference.
