Companion Program (as of Dec 2007)

Accompanying persons may join two one-day tours of Nanjing City. Nanjing, being the capital for six dynasties, is well-known for its rich historical cultures and relics. Please check the website for its city introduction at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanjing. The two one-day tours are arranged independently. Accompany persons are can take one of or both tours. The tour routines are presented below.

 

Day one: Nanjing City tour: Hotel → Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum → Mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty → Lunch → The Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall → Nanjing Confucius Temple → Hotel.

 

Day two: Nanjing City tour: Hotel → Liangjiang Governor-General Yamen and the Presidential Palace → Nanjing Museum → Lunch → Hotel Museum of History of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, Jiangsu Gallery (collection of over 6,000 pieces artworks).

 

Fee: USD 50 /day/person, including a lunch, transportation fee, gate entrance tickets, and English-speaking tour guide. Reservation should be made via the registration form.

The tour may be cancelled if the size of the tour is less than 5 persons.
